InnovaCare Changing Medicare Insurance Landscape

It’s been said time and time again that one cannot place a price on good health. However, over the past few years, various entities in both the private and public sector have attempted to do just that. In no time in our history have we seen as violent a shakeup as we have in our medical health community. With the advent of Obamacare, there have been many changes to how we use insurance to take care of ourselves.

It has become increasingly obvious to many people that Medicare is not enough to properly ensure the health and well-being of individuals. Because of this, Medicare Advantage plans have been created. The sole purpose of these addenda plans is to provide a greater net of coverage than one can procure from standard Medicare benefits.

There are three main types of Medicare Advantage Plans. These include plans that supplement HMOs, also known as Health Management Organizations, Private Fee for Service plans, and PPOs, also known as Preferred Provider Organizations. The cost for acquiring a Medicare Advantage plan is more out of one’s pocket, but, many of the plans include great benefits to the user, such as additional access to vision and dental care.

One of the main driving forces in the changes in healthcare, and one of the main points of much contention is the types of coverage that ordinary Medicare does not cover. Many find themselves in dire straits due to the lack of coverage that standard Medicare provides. Through the addition of Medicare Advantage plans, one can find the coverages that they need for a minimum cash output.

Creating Medicare Advantage Plans with InnovaCare

Medicare Advantage, sometimes called, Medicare Private Health Plan serves as another option for the “Original Medicare” Parts A and B. With Medicare Advantage, you’re still on Medicare, but it’s a private Medicare plan, which has different costs, benefits, and restrictions. It must cover Original Medicare coverage and could also cover other benefits such as vision and dental.

The most common Medicare Advantage plans are Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO’s), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPo’s), and Private-Fee-for-Service (PFF’s) plans. Medicare Advantage plans are administered through private insurance companies that provide Medicare benefits.

With Medicare Advantage, you will be paying a deductible and/or co-pay, (Which are usually fixed) alongside your regular Medicare premiums. Your plan may add other premiums you have to pay for as well. You will also have an out-of-pocket maximum each year after you pay it, you will have nothing for the rest of the year. If you want a Medicare prescription drug coverage premium, sign up for a plan that covers health and drug coverage, which is called Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan (MA-PD). Unless you’re in a Medical Savings Account (MSA) or a PFFS plan, you usually can’t have a Part D plan (Which is for Original Medicare plans).

Autism Rocks: A New Spin On Charity

Autism Rocks is a charity dedicated to raising money for autism. More specifically it wants to raise money for autism research. The charity is solely interested in autism research for two reasons. The first reason is that there are many wonderful charities that exist solely to support anyone effected by autism so that need is already being met. The second reason is that by researching the disease more, additional findings will be made and the charities that already support those effected by autism will be able to better support their beneficiaries.

Autism Rocks raises money through a very unique method. The charity hosts private concerts in London and asks the attendees, rather than buying the ticket, to donate at least 500 pounds to the charity. They have managed to raise significant funds using this method. However, the charity is looking at diversifying what it does. They are still wanting to continue with private concerts but they would like to host them in a variety of cities and not just London. The charity also wants to diversify the crowd. Instead of just inviting the wealthy to the concert, the charity wants to have a competition so that individuals can win tickets to the concert. Another big project that the charity wants to work on is producing a CD that is a compilation of different artists. The proceeds from the CD would then go to the charity.

The excitement and drive behind the charity all comes from one person, Sanjay Shah. Shah has had a successful career in finance but an old passion of his was promoting concerts. Shah came across the opportunity to pick up the old passion when his company, Solo Capital, started having so much success that he was able to take a backseat and spend more time with his family.

Around the same time that Shah became semi-retired, his son was diagnosed with autism. Shah wanted to be able to help him and decided that raising money for autism research would be his best shot at helping his son.

Hedge-Fund Manager Puts Passion into Autism Charity Concerts

An impromptu visit by a famous rapper may have been the catalyst that started the Autism Rocks concerts, according to a recent news article. Sanjay Shah, CEO of Solo Capital, was minding his business one day when his radio DJ friend brought a friend over to see him at his Dubai home. The friend was none other than Snoop Dog. Shah said during the visit Snoop Dog was very friendly and became a good friend quickly. Soon after the visit Shah was inspired to start a charity with music at the center, Autism Rocks. The concert proceeds go to Autism Research Trust. Because of his son, Nikhil’s diagnosis with autism in 2011, Shah takes the charity event very seriously. He has gotten celebrities, such as Prince and Lenny Kravitz to perform at fundraising concerts prior to the naming of Autism Rocks. After the successful beginning phases of a charity concert, Shah had Autism Rocks registered as a charity
Shah is the CEO of Solo Capital, a financial institution out of London, where Shah lived before falling in love with Dubai. Being-semi retired has given Shah a lot of free time, which aids in his devotion to Autism Rocks. Shah also has a history in public relations work especially with concerts. He used to help promote gigs while attending King’s College University.
With the successful gigs funding Autism Rocks, Shah hopes to put on more concerts; however, to raise the kind of money he’s looking to raise for Autism research, the concerts are going to be pretty high brow. Shah hopes to expand them to other cities. His financial success and experience in business will help Autism Rocks as it increases awareness and funds for Autism research. Shah has a wife, Usha and two other kids, Esha and Aman, as well as Nikhil, who is the youngest.

Beneful Helped My Dog To Finally Start Eating Normally

I purchased a new dog, and I wasn’t sure which kinds of foods that he would like to eat. I had started feeding my dog a certain brand of food, and I noticed that he wasn’t crazy about it. He would eat his food, but it seemed as if he would go most of the day without eating, and then he would stumble over to his bowl, and he’d only eat a little bit. I wasn’t sure what the problem was with the food, but the ingredients stated that it had real meat, and the other ingredients were wholesome as well, but I wasn’t certain.

There was something about the food, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I decided to do a test one day, and I chose to go out and buy another bag of a different brand of dog food. I ended up picking up Beneful brand dog food on facebook , and it wasn’t due to advertising or anything, I just read the label, and it seemed like a good food. The test that I ran was to put the Beneful brand dog food in one bowl, and to put the previous brand of dog food in another bowl, and I wanted to see which bowl of food he would eat.

I marked each bowl by putting a piece of paper in the back of the bowl, which stated the food that I put in each bowl. It was no competition. He first went to the bowl that he normally eats out of, but after taking up a kernel of the food, he decided to go over to the next bowl very quickly. Once he went to the bowl of food that contained Beneful, he didn’t stop eating until the bowl was completely empty.

I didn’t know why he didn’t like the other brand of food, but I did know that I was going to start buying Beneful brand foods from now on. I took the other dog food in the bowl and threw it away, and I took the rest of the food left in the bag, and I donated it to an animal shelter. I went out and I bought a few more bags of Beneful, and I even bought some of the wet versions of the food too. I’ve noticed an extreme difference when it comes to how my dog eats now, and he eats so much food.

I could barely get him to eat a full bowl of food before, but now he eats a bowl and a half when it comes time for his meals. He was always a slim build dog, and now he’s putting more meat on his bones because he’s actually eating his food. Although he wasn’t malnourished are unhealthy, I prefer the way he looks now because I know for a fact that he’s eating the right foods. I’m really grateful for the fact that I found Beneful for my pet, and I know that he’s loving every bit of the food that he eats.

Teddy Houlston: Britain’s Youngest Organ Donor

Before you read this story, be aware, it is a bittersweet tearjerker.

Teddy Houlston was a newborn baby who lived to be 100-minutes-old. Teddy’s parents, Jess Evans and Mike Houlston, knew when Jess was 12 weeks along that Teddy suffered from a birth defect called anencephaly. Anencephaly is a rare condition where the fetus does not develop a skull and therefore prevents the brain from developing. The condition is fatal, as Brian Torchin points out. Knowing that, however, the parents decided to continue on with the pregnancy because Teddy’s twin had no known defects, as reported on DigitalJournal.com. The parents knew that although Teddy would not survive long, any time that they could have with him would be precious.

After Teddy passed away, the family knew that they wanted to do more, according to the story on BuzzFeed.com. Jess and Mike decided to allow Teddy to be an organ donor to help others. The hospital was able to do the procedure and were also able to donate the newborn’s kidneys and heart valves to those in need.

Sources have reported that Teddy’s kidneys were able to go to help save the life of an adult who needed a transplant. While they mourn the loss of their son, Teddy’s parents are proud that in his very short life he was able to be a hero and help others to live a better life.
