Having an extensive multinational account expertise along with a thorough knowledge of data analytics, an extraordinary level of management expertise, and other exceptional talents, Lori Senecal became the newly-created position of Global Chief Executive Officer for the advertising agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky, LLC (also known as CP+B) on March 9, 2015.
Among Lori’s responsibilities is overseeing global growth and expansion plans, further development, managing the coordination of eight offices around the world and their exceptionally talented employees, creating and driving the strategic visions, deepening the firm’s unique model, working with partner agencies to fuel growth, playing a leadership role in partnering with clients, believing in the power of big ideas that help companies and brands stand out, and taking bold actions.
Lori said on Huffington Post’s interview that she believes strongly that it takes invention to deliver real competition and always encourages and inspires employees to come up with ideas. She has incubated and backed many startups and projects that were pitched by employees in invention competitions and creating an environment that supports inventing.
Lori says that an employee cannot wait for leadership opportunities to come along. If an opportunity doesn’t exist, the person has to find a way to invent it by identifying strengths and the organization’s needs, and imagining ways to create opportunities to address those needs.
On a regular basis, Lori provides thought leadership and industry insight through speaking engagements, op-eds, and television appearances. She has also been a Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. since April 17, 2015.
Among her numerous honors for her professional achievements was a Quantum Leap award for leadership and innovation from the AWNY Game Changer Awards and being named one of Ad Age’s Women to Watch for 2014. Additionally, she has acted as the Isaac Awards’ Jury Chair for the honoring of invention and was the founder of the Isaac+ Award celebrating student invention.
